A few things to help you feel at home during your stay.

Keys
You will receive a set of keys at check-in: one for the main entrance and one for your room. Please return both at checkout. If you lose a key, let us know immediately — a replacement fee of €30 may apply.
Comfort
Air conditioning
The AC unit is controlled by the panel near the entrance. Please turn it off when windows are open to save energy. Set your preferred temperature and the system will maintain it quietly.
Heating
During cooler months, heating is controlled by the same wall panel. The radiators may take a few minutes to warm up. Extra blankets are in the wardrobe.
Breakfast & kitchen
Breakfast
Breakfast is served daily from 08:00 to 10:00 in the ground-floor dining room. We offer fresh pastries, local cheeses, fruit, yogurt, and espresso. Please let us know about any dietary requirements.
House rules
Quiet hours
Please keep noise to a minimum after 22:00. Casa Lume is in a residential building and sound carries between floors. We appreciate your consideration for other guests and neighbors.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the building. You are welcome to smoke in the courtyard garden area. Please use the ashtrays provided.
Practical
Trash & recycling
Florence requires separated waste collection. You will find labeled bins in the kitchen: organic (brown), paper (blue), plastic and metal (yellow), and general waste (grey). Please separate your waste — it helps the city stay beautiful.
Checkout
Checkout is by 11:00. If you need a later checkout, please ask at reception the evening before and we will do our best to accommodate.
